Top Travel Advertisers and Marketers to Be Recognized in China

Beijing and Washington--The International Advertising Institute, the organization which has been awarding the best tourism advertising and marketing for the last eighteen years, has announced that the awards competitions will now include the efforts by any companies, organizations, or destinations marketing in China from anywhere in the world.
"We see the major travel marketing and advertising efforts to attract Chinese visitors by players in the travel industry from around the globe," said Juan Zhao, Deputy Chairman of the IAI International Advertising Awards and IAI Travel Awards. "The competitions for the IAI Travel Awards to be conferred in October and the IAI International Advertising Awards to be given in May will now recognize our friends from around the globe who are inviting Chinese consumers to visit their destinations and use their products."

The first opportunity to be recognized will be in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Travel Awards to be selected from entries received by August 22, 2018. The IAI International Advertising Awards have a later fall deadline and will be recognized at the 18th Annual IAI Festival in May at a site to be announced soon.

The significance of the awards is underscored by the industry partners who have combined through the International Advertising Institute to put on these two competitions and their award events.

The companies who have all made their mark in the world of the internet and have from several hundred million to over a billion users each are Weibo, iQIYI, Mango TV, NetEase, Sina, Tencent, and Baidu.
